"Thanks to a partnership with the Pennsylvania Vision Foundation, Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania (VROCP) has expanded their in-house eye clinic to provide no-cost eye exams and eyeglasses to individuals with limited financial means. This will allow individuals that otherwise would not have the benefit of an exam or eyeglasses the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives. The support of the Pennsylvania Vision Foundation for the VROCP eye clinic will also provide the necessary means for the clinic to expand, providing services to more people in need throughout Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Perry counties."
- Cheryl Cuddy, Director of Community Relations, Vision Resources of Central Pensylvania
“VisionCorps is proud to partner with the Pennsylvania Vision Foundation by providing over 1,000 Benefit Forms to Pennsylvanians in need of vision care exams and glasses. The need for these services are real and the impact this program has had on our community is immediate. Children are better able to learn in school and adults are better able to find and maintain employment when they are able to see.”
-Chris Ament, VP of Rehabilitation and Education, VisionCorps
"I just wanted to thank you and the VROCP for providing glasses for one of our students. This little girl really needed glasses. Both she and the teacher are very happy that she can now see better at school. I appreciate your services."

"Many thanks to the VROCP and the Washington Lions CLub. These glasses are making it much better for me to read, especially the small print. Thank you for helping me get these much needed glasses."

"The PA Vision Foundation Vouchers have provided the FOCUS Pittsburgh Free Health Center patients immense support. By providing the vouchers for eye exams and glasses, the patients are more easily able to complete that item of their preventative care. Without the support of the PA Vision Foundation, far fewer patients would complete eye exams, which would then result in people being unable to sustain opportunities because they are unable to see well."
-Kristina Abernathy, Clinic Administrator, Focus Pittsburgh
"Partnering with PA Vision Foundation provides an important benefit to the low-income, uninsured patients at Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM). The physicians and nurses in the medical clinic find the benefit program easy to use. Patients are able to pick from many participating eye doctors for their care. One returning patient proudly showed off his new frames and lenses saying, “Look, I can see!” The medical team recognizes the important role the program plays in being able to provide comprehensive care to patients. Thank you, PA Vision Foundation!"
